Original watercolour painting of a blue glass jug filled with daffodils. The jug is handmade locally in Bath, based on a roman design. I wasn't supposed to be painting daffodils, I was supposed to be painting a landscape, but they were so pretty in their jug that I couldn't resist. I was particularly drawn to the colour graduation: yellow, green, blue.
This has been framed in the past, so there is framing tape on the back of the paper. This doesn't affect the artwork. Sadly I can't sell this artwork framed because the glass is too fragile to post.
Painted with artists' watercolour paints and gum arabic on 140lb / 300g/m2 watercolour paper.
