It's not often that a photographer gets a model with beautiful body, perfect features and blonde hair to rival Rapunzel all in one package. Debra Jo Fondren was one such package. But, with some shots it became a battle between showing her or letting her fascinating cascade of hair BE the picture like it was for Hooper's June 1978 Playmate of the Year cover of her. http://www.rscotthooper.com/bio/debrajofondren_cov.html
The natural warm springs of Nevada's Desert Oasis was the perfect spot for Debra Jo to turn water nymph and become part of the natural flow. Just 50 miles outside of Las Vegas, the oasis became the background for much of her picture story in the magazine although this photograph has never been published anywhere.
