Artist's description:

Through the archway, you can just catch a glimpse of a sailboat moving out of sight.

I love color and the physicality of the paint, whether it's thick or fluid. It's always colors that move me and there is an adventure of discovery, of seeing how they look on the painting surface and I work to place them just so, that a balance is achieved in combination with the deliciousness of the pigments.

This gorgeous, large abstract is painted on 1.5"/ 3.8cm deep, gallery-wrapped canvas over heavy-duty stretchers. There is a substantial brace at each corner on the back for stability.
