I was instantly drawn to the strong visual image of this chickadee, particularly the angle he clings on to the tree!

Pushing, pulling, adding, and removing paint as I progress, I enhance and push the boundaries of natures colours. I'm looking for the right balance within the painting, I want to show nature's imperfections and a feeling of movement to engage the viewer.
