This Scottish painting depicts a little red roofed cottage on the edge of Loch Slapin and the magnificent Bla Beinn towering in the background. It is night and the moon is reflected in the waters of the loch. The composition is continued on the edges of the deep profile canvas allowing the painting to be hung without framing if required.
