This is an original encaustic (beeswax) monotype on Japanese hemp printmaking paper. Metallic blue and silver highlight this abstract artwork filled with organic shapes and textures. Romantic and mysterious, this artwork shows the rhythm of my hand gestures while creating it.

Signed and dated on the back and comes in a protective sleeve.

This unique hand-pulled print will be insured for full value and professionally packed and shipped within 2 business days from the date payment is received unless otherwise notified.

Joni Gruber earned her BFA in Drawing and Painting from The Ohio State University. Her work has been widely exhibited in solo and group shows across the US including the 47th Annual Bi-State Art Competition and Exhibition, Meridian Museum of Art in 2021, Global Warming is REAL, Museum of Encaustic Art in 2017 and B14, the biennial exhibition at the Wiregrass Museum of Art in 2014. She was featured in Studio Visit, Volume 26, 2014. Her work is in the collections of the Museum of Encaustic Art in Santa Fe, NM and the The Hyde Bridge Gallery, Yeats Memorial Building located in Sligo, Ireland.
