A large dramatic blue abstract seascape painted in a modern contemporary impressionist style in various blue colours using an unusual textural technique that allows the golden, colours of the under painting to show through.
In this coastal scene I have tried to convey the atmosphere of the wind, rain and waves of the wild sea, with a dramatic skies and the hint of moonlight showing through the clouds in the blue sky and reflecting off the water.

Painted in a modern abstract impressionistic style with a palette knife and fingers using a unique textural technique that allows the gold colour of the under-painting to show through the top layers.

Painted using quality artists acrylics on a square format 39" x 39" (98 x 98cm) canvas mounted on board, with a varnish finish and square profile white wooden frame ready to hang.
