Thoughts have turned to London this week and continuing my Teal Series by including this ink drawn and painted study of Big Ben. The icon of London and perfect to compliment the other images in this range.
Designed for a 20cm x 20cm mount. Comes as an image only. Could be mounted and framed at additional cost of £20. If you wanted to add this in make me an offer.
I used a traditional nib based pen and high quality lightfast inks on hand-made watercolour paper with an abstracted background.
This has been painted in Acrylic inks on specialist Two Rivers hand pressed 300GSM paper.
With this style of artwork I create the background ink study first and then looking at the abstract I decide on how best to incorporate the scene into the spaces available. Rather like looking at clouds, I let the composition of the abstract dictate the outcome.
Much care and attention is taken in packaging my work for both national and international delivery. This item will be packaged firstly with an acid-free tissue paper to ensure a protective layer and is then sealed in clear plastic cellophane. It is then finished with a bubble wrapping with two cardboard sheets on either side and then taped together to protect the seams.
