This is a Suminagashi print of small individual bowls of water and ink. It is overprinted with seaweed, a feather and leaves. A very calming pastel print taken directly from nature. Never to be repeated.
Suminagashi is the ancient floating ink on water technique. It is truly meditative to do and I love the water ripple effect it brings to my work.
It is printed on soft 250gsm BFK Rives paper. It is a one off original print which I have signed on the reverse.
Supplied mounted and cello wrapped ready to frame.
NB in the photos the background looks a bit grey but it is actually soft white the same as the mountboard.
