Artist's description:

This is a digital art print on real walnut wood veneered panel with epoxy resin finish. It took a while to figure out how to do it with a very patient printer friend of mine and his very (£250,000) expensive Oze Arizona flatbed printer. The process (when we finally worked out how to do it), involved 2 layers of white titanium dioxide followed by 2 passes in CMYK, meaning the wooden panel is printed 4 times. The result is mind blowing. I've produced 3 like this so far (but different images and different types of wood) so this is a one of a kind, original piece, which I will not be re-producing. The price tag isn't representative of an over inflated ego, merely representative of the crazy amount of money this piece cost to physically produce. Please check out my store in the next few days as I upload the other two pieces that I produced around about the same time using the same process. To get the process right, I had to hire a quarter of million pound printer for the day, burn through about 2 dozen real cherry wood veneered panels and a crazy amount of ink and titanium dioxide. Fortunately my printer friend didn't bill me for the hours he spent with me. You can see the process and read more in the "me at work" section of my shop. If you need more info, or want to see more images, please contact me.
