Artist's description:

This image is part of my 'psychedelic London' series, most of which are created by combining a colour image with its own negative (in the computer) in various different ways. There's a lot of trial and error with this approach and most of the pictures I try to interpret in this way end up looking like mud. So there's an element of luck, though a strong underlying composition definitely doesn't hurt in terms of a good starting point.

I love Battersea Power Station and have been trying to create an interesting and unique picture of it for years, so I'm very happy with this.

Materials used:

For those interested I use an Epson Stylus Pro 3880 printer, which uses Ultra-Chrome K3 inks, onto Epson Premium Semi-gloss paper, which ensures a very high degree of tonal and colour accuracy.
