Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

I went to shoot this old pontoon on a whim, intending to take some long-exposure images which sadly didn't work out as planned. However, there was a wealth of decayed and Barnacle-encrusted poles and structures to shoot instead!

This particular rusted pole caught my attention, with its abundance of barnacles and rust and even a few spider webs.

I was not sure this was worth presenting but after having it in a collection of images for my desktop, I keep being struck by its clarity every time it appears.

Materials used:

Printed on 285gsm Hahnemühle Fine Art Pearl paper, with a half inch black border, edged with white on a 5mm Formex backing.
