Three miles of empty beach with nothing but a fishing village at the end of a dirt road in the jungle. That was Sayulita, Mexico in 1983, a favorite location of Hooper's and perfect for photographing beauty on the beach. This photo could not be taken today since that little fishing village is now a teaming resort city. He considers himself lucky to have had the place all to himself for a time, and lucky again to have a gorgeous and talented horsewoman like Dana giving her all to make such a beautiful image.
This photograph is printed on a 30x20 canvas, gallery wrapped and ready to hang.
Kodachrome 35mm film, hi-res digital scan, canvas giclee
