Artist's description:

I am lucky enough to live near Banstead Woods and every year they come alive in a sea of blue. These woods are a constant source of inspiration and in this painting I wanted to create some texture to bring the bluebells alive. I have used slow drying acrylic paint and a palette knife to build up the layers and texture. I love the contrast in between the green and purple.
This is a thin canvas 40x60cm which has been varnished with matte varnish. I have attached picture wire to the reverse so it can be hung as it is or you can arrange for it to be framed if you wish.
