Original artwork description:

This view of Bamboo Island and some other smaller islands appearing out of the hazy sunshine was painted "en plain air" from under a tree on Laem Tong Beach,Phi Phi Don Island, Thailand. On this day I could actually see the smaller islands in the background for the first time and the details of the rocks, cliffs and bays of Bamboo Island more clearly (for a few hours anyway!) I tried to show the many different colours of the ocean from the yellowy-green shallows with shadowy coral to the darker deeper blues of the ocean. It is quite a challenge to paint waves breaking in front of you as they are constantly moving any changing! This is a really beautiful part of the world with the tropical islands, coral gardens and clear water, I could have stayed there for a lot longer!

Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
