This is an original watercolour of one of my favourite subjects - chickens. I keep chickens myself, so it is an endless source of fascination watching them chase and squabble over each morsel they find in the garden. Now my chickens aren't blue and green, but I call that artistic license! I wanted to enjoy a spring-like palette. This painting was selected to go on the cover of our local magazine. They emailed to ask permission and to see if I minded. It obviously only took me a second to agree!
I would suggest framing this in a 60x60cm frame, which you can buy as a standard readymade frame or of course, you can get a bespoke frame.
The painting will come in a cream/off white acid free mount, so it is ready to pop into a frame. It will be sent flat, which does make the postage expensive, but I worry about rolling artwork.
I can supply it framed in a light oak frame should you be interested and if we can work out how to get it to you without breaking the glass, however this will be an extra cost.
If you have any questions, please just ask.
