This is a piece of Conceptual Art

This work has been inspired by the previous work "Top Cat". In the Artist's Biography he like opposites, and a natural opposite is to "Cat" is "Dog", although there's isn't dog in Top Cat, his suggesting that Officer "Charlie" Dibble, may have a Dog to chase "Top Cat". Also "Top Dog" is mentioned in the title of the article below "Top Cat advert might be Top Dog for Halifax"

Along side Cat's, Dog's are also a popular animal search on the internet & social media, and the Artist is looking to tap into this market, with a slightly different approach on them.

This has been inspired by a recent Television Advert campaign by Halifax (Bank in the UK) to encourage first time buyers to buy their mortgage product influenced by using a nostalgic cartoon character Top Cat.

Top Cat is an American cartoon character of the 1960s, and later film Top Cat: The Movie 2015 that resides in a metal tin Rubbish Bin or Trash Cans, which the Artist is suggesting it’s similar to the Cans series of works.

Although the campaign has been ridiculed by some, it’s back fired and seen it’s ratings and awareness of it’s product increase (see link below)

The Artist is looking to use a similar Ad Campaign to display on the Social Media sites, to draw attention to his work, allegedly

The Artist has used a background colour of Blue to similar to "Charlie" Dibble uniform, and Blue lettering on the Can similar to Halifax's Logo
