Artist's description:

This is a piece of Conceptual Art

This is an unofficial Party Political Broadcast by the former Conservative Party.

The ready-made stainless steel “Can” has the words “Eton Mess” and is a play on words and nod to the former Conservative Prime Minister David Cameron, and to the dessert “Eton Mess”. David Cameron studied at the prestigious independent “Eton” College (School in the UK), and later at the “Bullingdon Club” (in which students would trash restaurants rooms, creating a mess as in title “Mess” and later inspired the film “Riot Club” 2014) unofficially at Oxford University, along-side, George Osborne, known for the unpopular “Austerity” cuts to welfare system - in order balance the books following the worldwide financial collapse of 2009.

“Eton Mess” is an English dessert consisting of mixture of strawberries, broken meringue, and cream, and is thought to have originated from “Eton” College, UK

The former Prime Minster David Cameron, policy included a “Referendum of the European Union” calling for the public to vote to “Remain” or “Leave”, and encouraged the public to “Remain”. However, the outcome was that result “Leave” won, and caused political terminal or mess to the political system (“Mess” in the title of the work), and later resigned as a result. Superseded by the present Prime Minster Theresa May, with the slogan “Brexit means Brexit”, (see next work “Remain means Brexit” and previous work “MT=TM”)

Conservative Party colours of Blue have been used as the background, and the text.

End of unofficial Party Political Broadcast by the former Conservative Party.
