Last summer I really enjoyed watching the birds come to our feeders and bird bath. There were many sparrows and, for months on end, I would see babies being fed by their parents - I pity the poor parents who had so many broods. However, the babies were adorable with their bright eyes and fluffy new feathers.
I love to paint birds, and the softness of the pastels allows me to recreate the soft baby feathers.
