Original artwork description:

This painting is called Awakening. The painting was inspired by the everlasting beauty of nature. When I paint landscapes I dive right into it. While working on this painting I felt as if I got teleported to this magical place, with emerald green water and a peaceful atmosphere. The only sounds I heard were the flopping trout leaping and slapping the surface of the water and the echo of a raven croaking. The warm golden light was reflecting from the water surface, making the pond glimmer in the soft morning light.

The sides of the canvas are painted and it's ready to hang. I always use 1.5" thick gallery wrapped cotton canvas for its durability and its 3D effect. The canvas is stretched over high quality pine wood frames and stapled on the back providing a clean finish on the sides. Since the sides are painted, the painting can be left unframed for the contemporary look.
