This is another painting done from my time spent on the River Conway in Snowdonia.
Having clambered down the undergrowth leading to the riverside, a world of colour unfolded before me. Neither painting, photographs or words can really illustrate how incredibly arresting this spot was, but painting it was like spending time there again.
I am developing a style at the moment based on layering different techniques and this painting was one of the early works, where the idea began to form.
