An impressionistic mountain landscape painting, painted in mute autumnal colours. This artwork was inspired by the rugged hills and wild moors of the British countryside, especially Scotland, Wales and the the Lake District scenery in autumn, with their ochre and brown covered heather moorlands and bracken covered hillsides under cloudy grey skies.
Painted in a contemporary impressionist gestural style with a palette knife.

Painted using quality artists oils on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a gloss varnish finish and white wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
