Artist's description:

I have always had a fascination for fractals and Fibonacci number series. I love mathematics but don’t have that kind of mind, I am a painter and this is my way of understanding math and physics. This painting has an amazing dimensionality to it. It kind of pinwheels around the space but is all built on the pattern that was first painted down. I paint and airbrush layers and layers. I use some rubber rollers with different patterns. Some are very dense and translucent. Some are opaque and there is a lot of paint that shifts colors and are iridescent.

In the mathematical field of systems, an attractor is a set of numerical values toward which a system tends to evolve, for a wide variety of starting conditions of the system.

Materials used:

Acrylic painted and airbrushed. The painting wraps all around the stretcher.
