Original artwork description:

Ashness Bridge is a very pretty bridge in the Lake District.

It is an excellent example of a traditional packhorse bridge, and has one of the Lake District’s most famous views looking north to Derwentwater, Whinlatter, Skiddaw and Bassenthwaite Lake.

One of my favourite places to visit and explore and so beautiful in the Autumn with all the different reds, yellows and orange shades in the foliage.

Materials used:

Watercolours on paper
