Artist's description:

When I started this artwork, I was working with the element of earth. I wanted the deep browns and greens of mud and moss combined with the brighter greens of new growth. As the painting continued, it became a path, wandering into the depths of the forest. The greens make me think of Ireland, and so it is named Armagh for an Irish city that reflects these colors.

While this is what I see, and my inspiration, each viewer will find something different hidden within the paint. The painting my go this direction, but flip it over and you will see something new. Perhaps, for you, it is meant to be hung differently.

Materials used:

acrylics mixed with glazes
