Original artwork description:

An original mineral painting, made with crushed minerals (natural and synthetic), crushed seashells and Sumi ink on Japanese paper, mounted on a wood panel. Natural colors include semi-precious stones. Because these substances consist of unique chemical and physical properties, every artwork has its own story to tell and embodies a sense of connection to the earth. It has a matt and rich sand-like appearance.

The focus of this painting is the river Ganges. The power of river. There is a Zen saying that you can never step in the same river twice. What originally inspired the artist to paint was a trip to India. Beautiful sceneries reminded her of jewelry that retains its shine even after a thousand years. She felt a strong desire to capture them in paintings and set out to do so. Presents the sceneries seen through her eyes in an art form.

In mint condition, Certificate of Authenticity included and calligraphy seal in front, hand-signed at the back. Sold unframed and ready to hang (eye bolt and string mounted at the back).
