“Aqua 13” is part of a collection of abstract paintings inspired by the Chaleur Bay (Baie des Chaleurs in french) located in Quebec, Canada where I grew up. It was created in acrylics on canvas then mounted on wood panel. The translucent sea glass colors and opaque wavy patterns suggest a dynamic coastal atmosphere.
For the creation of this piece, professional grade acrylics with high quality color pigments and excellent fade resistance were used. The painting is signed on the front, and signed, titled and dated on the back. It measures 16 x 16 x 1.5" (41 x 41 x 4 cm) and the edges of the panel are painted white. It will arrive wired and ready to hang on your wall. A signed certificate of authenticity is included with the artwork.
