"This watercolour painting was completed after a visit to the famous Appleby Horse Fair in Cumbria, where I spent an intensive day of sketching and photographing.
Appleby is a busy, bustling place with a unique atmosphere! There are horses everywhere you look, often grouped in mini 'herds'. This painting is one of the most complex I have ever completed; I wanted to get right in and among the horses and create a piece that captured the energy of the day.
This painting is professionally framed behind glass, in a distressed / antique effect brown and silver frame.
This piece will be very carefully wrapped and delivered by courier; but depending on the purchaser's location I would consider delivering it in person due to it's glass content."
Winsor & Newton Artists quality watercolours. Painted on Langton Prestige 100% cotton watercolour paper. Mounted using off white Arcadia Museum grade conservation mount board, and conservation tape.
