On my way from a very intense exhibition in Royal Academy of Arts in London, UK called "America after the Fall" that shows some of the iconic paintings of 1930´s such as Grant Wood's American Gothic or Edward Hopper's New York Movie, I felt so full of emotions that I didn't expect anything more. Maybe this is why the "anything" became plastic and real on the stairs out where empty spaces after hudge paintings caught my eyes and attention. There were supposedly artworks by Sebastiano Ricci that are removed till 2018. The bricks and wood behind the paintings date back to the times of Rembrandt who's art is in the UK National Gallery. My little anything in London is like no other anything anywhere else.
GALLERIES COLLECTION
When visiting various galleries I like to capture some detail on my photographies that reminds me of the place. Because of my respect to the rights of the authors (and their successors) I do not take pictures of the artworks but really keep the memory of the place and moment in taking picture of something related belonging to the gallery. It can be window, flowers, just something that reminds me of the place and time I experienced surrounded by the art. When seeing the photo, the art I saw and my impressions pop up in my mind and I experience the visit of the gallery again in my memory.
