A story must start somewhere and in this instance, started from a view just below my studio. As some of you know, I seldom introduce people or other critters into my paintings. Somehow I always think that a static landscape view can be read into just for what it is. Figures introduced into a painting also introduce an active story in the mind of the viewer. This painting started out as a pure landscape with no people, no critters, but alas, then had a couple of them added through the persistence of my artist friends. The title then changed to "Anticipation". You can make of it what you will. I can look past the figures. Painting is framed and ready to hang. Free shipping by ground in U.S.A.
