In 1976 Playboy Press asked several of their favorite photographers to shoot the lady of their choice for a book called "Sexy Ladies". They were given the freedom to do virtually any theme they wanted, without photo editors or guidance. For Playboy, that was quite an event.
Hooper's choice was Anisa and the photo story involved her in dungarees, looking like a boy and hopping on a freight train in the desert. She spends the ride undressing, taking a bath and transforming herself into a glamorous woman. She eventually exits the train in fashionable evening wear where she is greeted by her date in a Jaguar.
This 13x19 inch lustre surfaced print has an image size of 11x17 inches.
Kodachrome film, hi-res digital scan, archival paper
