"Angel of the Fountain" is an Impression Realism painting which attempts to share the experience received from a Mediterranean coastal town where everything seems seeped in the feel of the sea. The view is composed of the impressions of this town and recalls the caress of the water as it "gets our feet wet", an invitation to enter into the experience of the painting as it develops through details and continues to the seas´ horizon and transforms into infinity. The imagery of the sea as the beginning, differentiating itself through life experience and returning to itself. The angel on the fountains edge has its own subtle imagery. Knowledge springing from life itself yet coming from sources beyond understanding...Angels?
