The Andalusian horse is a 'purebred' Spanish horse who finds its heritage in Andalusia, the south of Spain. It is also called 'Pura Raza Española' and is used for all types of classic horse riding. The horse has a very serene and baroque appearance.
This blue/grey dappled horse is typical for this horse and I have used a golden color for the background, which increased the contrast between the light colored horse and a bright golden wall. It is a modern combination between the classical horse with Mediterranean colors. The sketchy details with charcoal brings out a 'modern classic' way of painting.
