Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

'And they wondered what it meant' Rudyard Kipling.

As we see more we learn there is so much more that we don't understand on the journey through life. It is our curiosity that makes us human and gives rise to our creativity and progress. The image of these two people setting off on their journey into the wide open world reminded me of Rudyard Kipling's story 'The cat that walked by himself'. 'Out in the Wet Wild Woods all the wild animals gathered together where they could see the light of the fire a long way off, and they wondered what it meant'.

This solar plate etching was created from a photograph taken in the Austrian mountains.

Each print is hand inked and wiped so there will be a variation in tone. If you would like a lighter or darker version, please let me know and I will pick one of the edition that matches your requirements as closely as possible.

If shipped outside the European Union, additional duty charges may apply.
