Artist's description:

A mixed media drawing made by working crumbled pastel onto the paper, and then applying ink with a fine nibbed dip-pen. These contrasting methods point to both the delicate intricacy, and pure physicality of Nature.

Inspired by the vast Northern landscapes of the imagination. The title in particular is a line of text from 'An Almost Gone Radiance' by Autumn Richardson, which speaks of being still in the presence of vastness.
