Original artwork description:

An original oil painting on canvas by Australian artist Scott Maxwell

Numbing the Neurochemical effects brought on by chronic pain,. Temporarily the pain messages are interrupted in part due to analgesics. but, mostly by the act of painting and the state of mind when doing so. This is the main relief to life's circumstances. This is my inspiration for this and other works of mine.

The painting is on a deep edged stretched canvas, the edges are painted black and a hanging wire is attached to the back so it is ready to hang with or without a frame.
