The Old Man Of The Marsh, Farlington, Hampshire.

Overlooking what would become the Solent eight to ten thousand years ago, in the last great tsunami to flood the plains between what is now the island of the UK and mainland Europe.
This stone was a way marker on the passage through the valley that splits the hills of Wight and the South Downs.
Oil pastel, chalk, charcoal, graphite and marker pen.
