Give an Amsterdam-lover something completely different!
This is a unique handmade print on a vintage page celebrating Amsterdam's beauty, language and history. I carved an Amsterdam canal house and its reflection into lino, and hand printed it on a page from a 1965 Dutch journal featuring a Victorian illustration of two cyclists on penny farthings. The water is hand painted with acrylic ink and the whole thing given a hand-drawn black border for a bold graphic finish.
I like to trust my hand and eye for a more natural finish, so the print is cut out without a ruler. It's mounted onto a sheet of A4 heavy-weight, acid-free paper, signed and dated, and shipped in a plastic sleeve inside a sturdy cardboard envelope.
