Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

One of the my best portrait painting of legend Amitabh Bachchan. The Big B is one of the super star of famous Bollywood cinema in (Bombay) Mumbai India. I have painted his portrait in year 1979 while I was at my collage in Bandra (Bombay) Mumbai.

But he was very busy and famous actor but some how I got chance to go to his house in Juhu (Bombay) Mumbai. And lucky to meet him on his own birthday 11/10/1982. After waiting for 3 year and 4 months time, it was worth waiting.

When I have painted this portrait while I was so young and still I am young. It took me forty-eight hours of continues work, to finish this very photorealistic portrait painting.

When I met him he admire my work and highly appreciate my style of work. He mentioned that even he was doing three shift for three movies shootings for different location. And he was paid 50% in advance but never did continues work more then I did.

Then I replied, it is your greatness to appreciate my work. Then he said yes I did it. What do you want? do you want to sell this painting? Because he was awarded as 'Angry Man' on the same pose which I painted from his movie 'KALA PATTHAR'.

I told him very politely, every thing is not for sell in this world. We are both artist on different platform. Thank you very much for your valuable time and appreciation. Then I request him give his autograph on my painting. And he did give me and I got it.

Not only I have painted him but I also be assimilated by his acting and to learn Philosophy of his father's (Harivansh Rai Bachchan) poem.

hope you all like my efforts to create this painting.
