Original artwork description:

oil and latex on canvas

The American Dream sequence investigates Pop Art's central premise; consumerism replacing culture.

Note: this piece was born when i found a deep frame on the street in Brooklyn. It was rather on the kitschy side so rather using to frame a painting i elected to stretch canvas over it. In the alternative photos you can see the piece has an unusual profile in that instead of being flat it meets the wall at an oblique angle.

Materials used:

oil and latex on canvas
