This is a detailed study of an Amaryllis in bloom. The variety is 'Splash' and it has double flowers with scarlet and white colouring. It is grown here in England usually as a house plant and sprouts up from a large bulb. I am fascinated by this plant because of it's bold beauty and I think I have managed to portray how striking the flowers are, especially when you look closely.
