Artist's description:

I wanted to take a new direction with my work- creating something looser and less detailed but still with the emphasis on creating movement and expression of the body. I love using bigger brushes and charcoal. The black charcoal on the black paint creates a textural contrast that's quite velvety and luxurious in the contrast to the block colouring on the figures. This is the first of a triptych but can be bought on it's own too.

Materials used:

oil and charcoal
