Artist's description:

The Allondon river flows from France to Switzerland. It is a funny feeling to have a walk between two countries, with just a river in between.
On a Sunday afternoon, after a good lunch, a friend proposed me to go for a relaxing walk in the countryside above Geneva. Luckily I had my camera with me and I could take a few pictures of this amazing lush greenery.
There is often a path in my painting or the sign that the human beings have been there. A path, an isolated farm...I try to create an atmosphere and like the idea that the human presence shines by his absence.
