Whilst photographing the docks in Southampton I wondered how long it would take for nature to reclaim this industrial and urban landscape. And also how our architecture of the sixties and seventies might age! And ruin!This is one of a series which are a mixture of photography and painting. This one I felt was more photographic . It reminds me of an old masters landscape! This housing estate was built on an old bomb site .
This can be transferred to larger size canvas or board so please enquired. Finished with uv varnish to avoid fade. You must note these haunting images are not finished on a computer but by hand with paint and brush? I'm just a hands on type and like the uniqueness of each piece.
