Original artwork description:

As part of my art practice I go to weekly figure drawing groups. In figure drawing, I am fast, furious and heavy handed as I carve my line out of space. This is a two-minute gestural drawing- most often they are warm ups- but this one captured something for me. I then added more drawing, paint, stencil and hand lettering to complete the image. In this piece you can see the deckled (ragged) edge of the handmade pink pastel paper. The pink that you see is not paint, but the paper showing through from underneath.

Materials used:

acrylic, paint, stencils, china marker, pen, pencil, marker, gel medium, glue, colored pencil,
