This painting is oil on canvas. It has a very personal history, being created during a difficult time of my marriage. Even though the subject is dancers, it directly reflects the mood of fatigue and deep thinking. The dancers look in different direction, contemplating their problems and their future. Brewing separation is in the air.
The philosophical nature of this painting draws its inspiration from Picasso's "Acrobat on a ball".
The canvas was bought in 1988 in Russia, with the edges of material not tucked at the back, but the staples are exposed on the sides, therefore the frame is highly recommended.
