Original artwork description:
I love painting on top of paint, a surface that already had a life, an energy of some sort. For whatever reason I was not able to resolve what existed before, but then I am able to breathe new life onto the surface and I find that I am able to extract what did work from the previous work into the new piece. This became more about soft edges and mood and neutral color as time progressed and instead of oversaturating the color, I pushed it back and kept it far away and softer because this piece called for it. It is Oil on panel and nestled in a white floater frame and ready to hang!
