With the coming of a new style, comes the experimentation of different mediums, backgrounds and techniques. This piece was inspired by a Japanese color pallete. The background was done using vintage paper of quotes from famous persons. The canvas has a vintage look to it. This helped give the piece some street art authenticity that had inspired me from my last few trips around the world. The image is made with nothing but a pallete knife and oil paint. The technique used to give theaibting it's decaying look is also brand new and has never been done on any of my pieces before. Each color was mixed and placed carefully on the canvas to give hint to an old way of painting, with the sense and style of modern abstract.
