An English mountain landscape scene of the picturesque Lake District of England. In this painting I was inspired by the views of the hills and fells around Grasmere looking from the top of the hills down into the valley and lake below.
In this small study I have tried to portray the mood of the changeable weather of this wild area of the British countryside.
Painted in an impressionistic gestural style with a palette knife. With a blue and ochre sky with a muted red magenta foreground.

Painted using quality artists oils on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a gloss varnish finish and white wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
Frame moulding may differ slightly to the one shown depending on availability.

Will require a signature on delivery.
