Artist's description:

This image is part of a larger series I call "ABANDONED". I found this abandoned farmhouse in a rural community not far from home. The scene is how I found it. My first impression of this place was as if I had gone back in time. Although years of neglect, have taken a toll on the space it is as if someone had just walked away, but when? Clothing still hangs in the closet of a style largely from the late 50s and 60s. There is no power to the house and the only light I used to make the shot was the light bleeding in to the space from a large open window, revealing a chaotic, but somewhat orderly scene. The lamp appears lite although it is not and the tv offered the perfect canvas for something that would match the scene before me, one of my favourite tv shows from the past, "The Twilight Zone".
